The Casa’s Board of Trustees
The Casa is directed by a Board of eight Trustees. Two are permanent members and chosen by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Two others are also permanent members because they represent the main countries served by the Casa, they are the United States and Mexico. The other four members, each of which serve three year terms, come from and represent the other Latin American countries.
The Board of Trustees elects the General Director and outlines the general procedures of the organization’s ministry. In addition, the members help in two ways: On the one hand, they bring to the Casa the needs for printed and electronic materials, and on the other, they take back to their countries information regarding the products that Casa has produced and published. The Board of Trustees meets twice a year, usually in El Paso.
